Mr Sivakumar (MIBA President) and Dato Mohan Krishan (NIE) lead a small delegation to Bank Negara Development Finance & Enterprise Department on May 30, 2012 for a discussion on improving access and building capacity for micro Indian entrepreneurs.

MIBA is to meet Bank Negara Officials on 30th May 2012. The Meeting was arranged by Dato Dr Denison Jayasooria. MIBA will be represented by P.Sivakumar, Dr S.Sivamoorthy , Mr Andy along with Mr Nesan also in the team will be the Malaysian Indian Entreprenuer’s Association President Dato Mohana Krishnan and former Hindu Sangam President Dato Vythialingam.

LIBERALIZATION OF FOREIGN WORKER INTAKE

Following up on the call for (The Star Online -‘Allow direct intake of foreign workers’ 24 March 2010) MIBA today submitted a MEMORANDUM urging the Prime Minister to look into the issue. The Memorandum was submitted to Mr. Ravin Ponniah, Special Officer to the Prime Minister at Prime Minister’s Office in Putrajaya by MIBA President Mr. P. Sivakumar.

During the ½ hour meet with Mr. Ravin Ponniah, some key issues were discussed and was brought to the Special Officers attention.
Dr. Raken, General Secretary of MIBA national also pressed on the need for Entrepreneur Development Programs to address the grassroots and assist the Indian Youth to setup business to divert them from unwanted activities.
MIBA will continue to champion the cause of Indian Businesses and the Community as a whole. Quoting Mr. P. Sivakumar “ Its easy to talk the talk, its about the time we Walk the Talk”.
